加纳籽凝集素I（Griffonia Simplicifolia Lectin I，GSL I），是分子量约114kDa的一种糖蛋白家族，含有两种亚基，命名为A和B，仅分子量稍有不同。这些亚基结合形成四聚体结构，产生五种同工凝集素（GSI-B4, GSI-AB3, GSI-A2B2, GSI-A3B，GSI-A4 ;或者BSI-B4, BSI-AB3, BSI-A2B2, BSI-A3B，BSI-A4）。A亚基富集的凝集素倾向于凝集A型血红细胞，但似乎特异性识别α-N-乙酰半乳糖胺（GalNAc）残基；B亚基倾向于凝集B型血细胞，特异性识别α-半乳糖残基。商业化的GSL I是五种同工凝集素的混合物，能结合包括层粘连蛋白在内的一些糖蛋白。
加纳籽凝集素I同工凝集素B4（Griffonia Simplicifolia Lectin I B4 isolectin, GSL I-B4）仅含有B亚基，是一种有用的非灵长类动物内皮细胞标志物，包括小鼠，大鼠，兔和山羊。也是非肽能无髓鞘初级传入神经元的一种标志物。本品为FITC标记的加纳籽凝集素I同工凝集素B4（FITC GSL IB4, FITC BSL IB4），Ex/Em=495/515nm，基本不含未偶联荧光素和灭活的凝集素，推荐使用浓度范围5-20μg/ml。

保存与运输方法
保存：2-8℃避光保存，1年有效。
运输：冰袋运输。
应用示例
染色方法：患氧诱导的视网膜病变的小鼠或年龄匹配的正常小鼠在出生后17天（Postnatal day 17）处死，它们的眼睛要么被摘除和快速冷冻在OCT包埋剂中用于冰冻切片制备（10 μm），要么固定在4%福尔马林（2h）用于铺片分析（flat-mount analysis）。固定后，切片和/或视网膜铺片用FITC- GSL I B4染色。切片用抗荧光淬灭剂（ProLong Gold antifade reagent with DAPI ），用荧光显微镜捕捉荧光信号。
染色结果：
